Chris Leo live @ Locomotiv Club

Questa sera Chris Leo, già voce e chitarra dei leggendari Van Pelt e dei Lapse, nonché fratello di Ted Leo, arriva in concerto al Locomotiv Club con il suo ultimo progetto Vague Angels.
Se il nome non vi dice molto, questa è la descrizione che ne fa la All Music Guide: "Chris Leo's songwriting incorporates noisy, guitar-driven elements and half-spoken, half-sung melodic elements. His work with the Van Pelt in the mid-'90s led to a successful bout of touring and performing and a handful of releases on Gern Blandsten". Tra le altre etichette per cui ha pubblicato Leo sono da annoverare anche Southern e Matador.
Negli anni più recenti Leo si è dedicato anche a scrivere libri, alcuni illustrati e per bambini. Il suo ultimo lavoro si intitola Lets Duke It Out At Kilkenny Katz, un album che mescola indie rock classico, psichedelia, folk e spoken word con grande emotività. L'appuntamento è alle 22.30 in Via Serlio 25.
